Gayndah, a pleasant rural service centre located on the Burnett River, lies at the heart of Queensland's citrus area and proudly claims to be 'The Orange Capital of Queensland'. While in many ways a typical Queensland rural town, Gayndah has a number of special attractions: it has an excellent museum with a number of historic houses; the Archer's Lookout offers a fine vantage point over the town.
