Description
Nurse Practitioner | Proactive and Personalised Health | Surry Hills
$150 per hour | Monday to Friday | Immediate start
SALT Medical Recruitment is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for an exciting locum opportunity with an innovative Sydney based health organisation.
The organisation offers a proactive and personalised approach that uses detailed testing, biomarkers, health data and clinical interpretation to understand an individual’s health and develop a tailored plan.
It combines pathology and biological testing with ongoing clinical review, personalised recommendations and repeat testing.
About the role
This is a genuinely clinical role working closely alongside the existing Nurse Practitioner and supervising GP.
The successful Nurse Practitioner will work as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team, helping to turn complex pathology results into meaningful health insights and clear next steps for clients.
The role will primarily involve:
• Supporting and reviewing blood test requisitions
• Reviewing and triaging pathology results
• Identifying results that require further clinical review or escalation
• Supporting the clinical review of personalised health plans
• Working closely with the existing Nurse Practitioner, supervising GP and broader clinical team
• Helping ensure complex clinical information is interpreted and communicated clearly
There may also be an opportunity to shadow and complete a handover with the current Nurse Practitioner.
Prescribing rights are not essential. They would be a nice addition, but candidates both with and without prescribing rights will be considered.
