• $82-$89/hour base rate + super + penalties
• Contract available from 27th November to 10th January 2025
• Rotating 8 and 12 hour shifts
• Must have minimum of 5 years experience in Primary Health, First On Call/emergency response and Chronic disease management
• ALS, PALS, MEC, & Triage certificates are required
• Accommodation and travel allowance will be provided
• Applicants must be registered with AHPRA and hold working rights for Australia

The Health Centre is managed by Remote Area Nurses. They have visiting specialists, Indigenous health workers, and community health services available.

Laura is a place where visitors can immerse themselves in Indigenous culture and learn about the traditions and history of the local Aboriginal communities. It is also a gateway to the beautiful natural landscapes of Far North Queensland, making it a destination that combines cultural enrichment with outdoor adventure.
