Clinical Nurse Consultant

• Competitive rates (based on experience level) plus super and penalties
• Contract available from 3rd September to 11th October
• Must have a minimum 5 years experience as CNC
• ALS/PALS, Neonatal Resus first responder & MEC/REC required
• Highly Desirable: RAN or RIPRN/Sexual Health/Child & maternal/Immunisation
• Must be able to participate in portfolio/audit management as senior staff member
• Manual driver's license required
• Applicants must be registered with AHPRA and hold working rights for Australia

Aurukun Primary Health Care Centre is a remote healthcare facility in Aurukun, Far North Queensland, providing essential 24-hour primary care services including emergency treatment, chronic disease management, maternal and child health, and mental health support. It plays a vital role in delivering accessible healthcare to the local community in partnership with Queensland Health and Aboriginal health services.

Located in a geographically isolated area on the western Cape York Peninsula, the centre serves a close-knit Indigenous community where access to healthcare is supported by outreach services such as the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
