Clinical Nurse | Mental Health - Hinterland

• Competitive base rates (depending on experience level) plus super and penalties

• Must have demonstrated experience in Mental Health Case Management and Alcohol & Other Drugs (AOD)
• Experience working with children and adolescents essential
• Competent in completing an ECG
• Desirable Knowledge of CIMHA and ATODS-IS databases and ieMR and proficiency in using this system
• Previous experience working in Australia, QLD Health and/or Mackay HHS required
• Flexible base location - The health centre or candidate may choose to be based in Mackay & outreach to the Hinterland region as required.
• Travel and accommodation provided
• Applicants must be registered with AHPRA and hold working rights for Australia

Our client provides a range of services that include: Community and Child Health Services, Occupational Therapy, medical assessment, nursing, general health services, social worker, preventative health care. Mental health services provided to children up to 18 years and adults: assessment, crisis intervention and referral. Child health services from post natal care through to assessment for older children. 

Moranbah is situated in the Isaac Region in the central part of the state and is known for its association with the coal mining industry. The town provides parks and recreational facilities, allowing residents and visitors to enjoy outdoor activities and leisure.
