Enrolled Nurse | Dysart

• Competitive base rates (depending on experience level) plus super and penalties
• Immediate start, contract until January 2026
• Minimum 3–4 years of Enrolled Nursing experience required
• Demonstrated experience in rural and acute nursing, including emergency care and ward
• Competency in blood collection, wound management and stores management/ordering is essential
• Current ALS and BLS required
• Must be willing to work as the second nurse on shift, rotate across all shift types and provide support during emergency situations
• Travel and accommodation provided
• Applicants must be registered with AHPRA and hold working rights for Australia

Dysart Hospital is a 9-bed rural facility under Mackay Hospital and Health Service, providing 24/7 emergency care, general medicine, palliative and respite care. It includes a pharmacy and telemedicine support.

Visiting services available include substance abuse management, child and maternal health, a school-based youth nurse, and women’s health care delivered by the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Located in a close-knit mining and farming community, Dysart is surrounded by scenic landscapes and outdoor attractions like Peak Range National Park—ideal for hiking and mountain biking.
