Positioned at the foothills of the Snowy Mountains in New South Wales, Cooma is a charming regional town known for its alpine gateway location, cool climate, and close access to some of Australia’s best snowfields and outdoor recreation. The local hospital is a regional facility with approximately 40–50 beds, delivering emergency care, acute inpatient services, maternity, and aged care, with 24/7 support for the wider Snowy Monaro region.
