Coen, located in the heart of Cape York Peninsula, is a remote yet vibrant community surrounded by tropical savanna and lush rainforests. The Coen Primary Health Care Centre provides comprehensive, culturally appropriate healthcare services, including 24/7 emergency care, general practice, dental services, and specialist clinics such as obstetrics, ophthalmology, and mental health support. The centre is operated in partnership between Queensland Health and Apunipima Cape York Health Council, ensuring quality care for the local community.
