Out in the far west of New South Wales, Cobar is a classic outback mining town known for its copper and gold history, wide open landscapes, and strong rural community. The local hospital is a small regional facility with approximately 30 beds, providing essential services including emergency care, acute inpatient care, and aged care, with 24/7 coverage for the town and surrounding remote areas.
