• Must hold Fellowship in RACGP and/or ACRRM and hold current ALS2 or equivalent.

As a major hub in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, Karratha is known for its coastal scenery, strong mining and resources industry, and access to nearby national parks, combining modern amenities with a remote outback setting. The local hospital is a regional facility with approximately 40–50 beds, providing emergency care, acute inpatient services, maternity, and specialist support, with 24/7 coverage for the city and surrounding communities.
