Mornington Island, with a population of approximately 1000, is located about 125kms north-west of Burketown, 200kms west of Karumba, and 444kms from Mt Isa. Mornington Shire incorporates twenty-one of the twenty-two islands and has an area of 1,248.4 square kilometers. This location is a popular destination for doctors who want to learn more about Indigenous culture and history, as well as explore the island's natural beauty.

You will be working in a small local hospital covering ED and wards, with 24/7 on-call requirement - surrounded by a friendly supportive team.

Must have Fellowship in either RACGP and/or ACRRM.
