Registered Nurse | Acute Assessment/Stroke & Medical

  • Competitive base rates (depending on experience level) plus super and penalties
  • Multiple contracts available from 6th July to 30th August
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ post-registration nursing experience in a clinical practice setting
  • BLS required
  • Desirable to have previous experience working in Australia, QLD Health and/or Mackay HHS 
  • Travel and accommodation required
  • Applicants must be registered with AHPRA and hold working rights for Australia

The G0 Ward is a medical and stroke unit, with plans to open the Acute Assessment, Stroke and Medical Unit (AASMU). AASMU provides care for patients with acute medical conditions, including post-thrombolysis stroke care, chronic disease exacerbations, and palliative care. The unit has 22 beds (18 medical, 4 stroke) and can expand flexibly to 26 beds.
