Registered Nurse | ED & Rural Nursing

• Competitive base rates (depending on experience level) plus super and penalties
• Multiple contract opportunities available from 10th August to 4th October
• Preferably ieMR trained within 12 months
• Must have recent Rural nursing and Emergency experience
• Mandatory: Emergency Triage Education Kit (ETEK)/Triage competency, Resuscitation, Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certificates
• Ability to team lead and manage a ward independently, including as the sole RN on shift.
• Previous experience working in Australia, particularly in QLD Health and/or Mackay HHS is desirable
• Nurses must have access to their own vehicle for the duration of the contract due to the remote location
• Applicants must be registered with AHPRA and hold working rights for Australia

Dysart Health Service is located in the Isaac Regional Shire in the town of Dysart, approximately 250kms south-west from Mackay. A journey which takes approximately 2.5 hours. It is a 9-bed hospital servicing surrounding mining towns with a 24-hour emergency department and a steady flow of outpatients.
