Grab this chance to become a part of the largest hospital in the WA Country Health Service. You will be working at a 190-bed facility with a 24hr specialist-led emergency department (ED), Intensive Care Unit (ICU)/High Dependency Unit (HDU), medical and surgical wards, subacute rehabilitation ward, paediatric ward, maternity ward, acute psychiatric unit, theatre complex and outpatient areas. The location offers beautiful beaches, picturesque coastline, and a variety of recreational activities for residents and visitors alike.
What we are looking for?
- Experienced Clinical Nurse specialising in Mental Health
- Contract available for start on 8th October, 6-12 weeks
- FTE hours on a 7-day rotating roster (AM, PM, and Nights)
- Must be triage competent and able to conduct primary assessments of all patients presented to the Emergency Department
- Minimum 12 months relevant work experience required
- Must be willing to work in other ward areas and sometimes float to other campuses, if needed
- Candidates with car and unrestricted drivers licence, preferred
- BLS, Hand Hygiene, Manual Handling, Aseptic Non-Touch Technique, Mandatory Reporting of Child Sexual Abuse are mandatory
- Must have WA Working with Children Check or evidence of having applied
- MRSA clearance will be required for applicants coming from interstate
- Current AHPRA registration
- Proof of Australian Work Rights
