CNC | Outer Island Reliever | Badu Island

• $101/hour base rate + super + penalties
• Contract available ASAP to 21st April
• Minimum 5yrs experience in ALS/PALS and neonatal resus first responder
• Must have experience in sexual health, child & maternal, and immunisations
• Highly desirable: Remote Area Nurse (RAN) or Rural & Isolated Practice Registered Nurse (RIPRN)
• Accommodation and travel provided
• Candidate must have AHPRA registration and holds working rights in Australia

Badu Island Primary Health Care Centre consists of nurses, health workers, visiting doctors, and allied health professionals who work closely with the local community to address health needs and promote overall wellness in the island community. It emphasises cultural sensitivity and respect for the local Torres Strait Islander culture and traditions.

The island's coast is lined with beautiful sandy beaches and clear turquoise waters, perfect for relaxation and water activities. Meanwhile, lush tropical vegetation covers the interior, providing a serene and picturesque backdrop. Its community hosts various cultural events and festivals celebrating its First Nations heritage, including dance, music, and storytelling, providing visitors with an immersive cultural experience.
