- $1,600 per day or 70% billings (whichever is greater)
- Multiple blocks available from 22 June to 27 January 2027
- GP sessions Monday to Friday 0830 -1730
- The Practice is closed for 1 hour at lunch and last patients are booked at 1630 to allow time at the end of each day for result checking and paperwork.
- Average of 15-25 patients per day
- 15 min standard appointments
- Best Practice clinical software
- No weekend, after hours, on call or Emergency work required
- Doctor is welcome to do Saturday morning clinic at Tom Price Medical Centre.
- Must have General Practice Specialist Registration with AHPRA.
Located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, Paraburdoo is a remote mining town known for its red desert landscapes, iron ore operations, and close-knit community. The local hospital is a small rural facility with approximately 20–30 beds, providing emergency care, acute inpatient services, and 24/7 coverage for the town and surrounding mining communities. Locums are expected to provide comprehensive general practice care including diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions, immunisations and travel advice, men’s and women’s health checks, occupational medicine and injury management, mental health care planning, culturally appropriate care for ATSI patients, and review of results and correspondence including eHealth summaries.
