Registered Midwife 

• Competitive base rates (depending on experience level) plus super and penalties
• Contract available from 14th September to 10th January 2027
• Minimum 3 years experience in women’s health nursing/midwifery required
• Labour ward and birth suite experience essential
• BLS required
• Desirable to have previous experience working in Australia, QLD Health and/or Mackay HHS and knowledge of ieMR and proficiency in using this system
• Travel and accommodation provided
• Applicants must be registered with AHPRA and hold working rights for Australia

Mackay Base Hospital is the major hospital in the Mackay Hospital and Health Service, offering 257 beds. It provides specialist services in ear, nose and throat surgery, obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics, orthopaedics, psychiatry, urology and oncology.
