Babinda, a charming small sugar town nestled 60 km south of Cairns in Far North Queensland, is celebrated for its lush tropical landscapes and the renowned Babinda Boulders. The town is home to Babinda Hospital, encompassing an emergency department, 11 Aged Care beds, 10 Acute beds, and 4 clinic rooms, providing comprehensive healthcare services to the community.

We are actively recruiting an SMO ED to provide GP services and ED support to this rural healthcare facility. This is a very balanced working environment, offering a highly manageable workload. 

Fellowship in RACGP and/or ACRRM is essenial for this role, along with current ALS2 or equivalent certification.
